Mr. Inder Bir Singh Passi is our Chairman and an Independent Director.

He holds a Masters ‘degree in mathematics from Punjab University, and is a Ph.D. from the University of Exeter, UK. Mr. Passi is on the board of Parabolic Drugs Ltd since October 12th, 2009.Presently, Dr. Passi is a member of the editorial board of the Indian Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics, a publication of the Indian National Science Academy and is also a fellow of the Indian National Science Academy, the National Academy of Sciences, India and the Indian Academy of Science.

In 2007, Dr. Passi was appointed an Honorary Professor at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Mohali. Since 2005, he has been Professor Emeritus at Punjab University, Chandigarh and was President, Mathematics Section, Indian Science Congress Association, for the session 1998-99, President of the Indian Mathematical Society 2006-07, and a member of the National Board for Higher Mathematics (Department of Atomic Energy, GoI) during 1989-2002. He was the editor of the Journal of Indian Mathematical Society during 1985-89, and of the Journal of Group Theory during 1998-2001.

Mr. Pranav Gupta is our Managing Director and the Promoter of the Company.

A Mechanical Engineer with a Management degree from the University of Kansas, USA, Mr. Pranav Gupta is a passionate first generation Entrepreneur who founded Parabolic Drugs Limited in 1996 with Mr. Vineet Gupta (Co- Founder).He is a dynamic leader who has led this company from the front, thus taking it from just being a small contract manufacturer in 1998 to a global API manufacturer and a research partner for the innovator companies in just 12 years.

Mr. Pranav Gupta’s foresight and his belief in self, in his human resource and a swift transformation with the industry dynamics helped PDL in becoming one of the fastest growing pharma companies with its topline touching 675 crores and bottom-line over 52 crores on 31st March 2011. 

Mr. Vineet Gupta is an Executive Director and one of our Promoters. He is an IIT graduate in Mechanical engineering who is principally leading the Educational Business of Parabolic Group under the brand Jamboree Education.

At Parabolic Drugs, he is the tactician for the global growth and marketing network. He is also maintaining relations with the investors of the company.Besides this, he is a member on the board of the AIESEC Alumni Association.

Mr. Gurpreet Sandhu is on the Board as an executive Director since November 8th, 2010.  

He is an MBA in Marketing Management & International Business and has over 22 years rich experience in chemicals and pharmaceuticals Industry. He has worked with Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. as Director & Head Global API Business.

At Parabolic Drugs Limited, he is driving the global Marketing.

Dr. Ram Kumar is an Independent Director.

He is MBBS, MD ,an eye specialist and on the board of Parabolic Drugs Ltd since September 30th, 2005. He is an experienced professional in the field of medical science with specialization in Ophthalmology and has authored various books and articles in newspaper.

He has also served as the President of the Chandigarh Ophthalmic Society and currently holds memberships in various scientific societies including the Indian Medical Association.

Mr. Manmohan Lal Sarin is an Independent Director. He is a renowned legal professional with expertise in corporate laws and affairs. He has been a co-author to various legal books , journals and has attended several international conventions in over 60 countries.

Mr. Nikhil Goel, a 30 year old young and dynamic entrepreneur, joined the company’s Board on November 8th, 2010 as an Independent Director. He has over 10 years of experience as Director of an energy meter company.

Mr. Arun Mathur is a non-executive Director.

He is a Chemical Engineer from Indian Institute of Technology and is on the board of Parabolic Drugs since March 14th, 2008. He has over 35 years of experience in different reputed pharmaceutical companies like Lupin, Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited as Director - Operations, Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited and Matrix Laboratories Limited.

Mr. K. Srinivas is a Nominee Non-Independent Director, appointed by BTS India Private Equity Fund Limited.

He is an engineering graduate with his Master’s degree in Business Administration and is on the board since April 30th, 2008.

Mr. Srinivas has over 18 years of enriched experience in the financial sector and has served for four years’ experience in the airlines industry. He is the Vice Chairman and Managing partner of BTS India Private Equity Fund Limited, a part of the BTS group of Switzerland.
